MIMM #1 6/3/13

Life has been CRAZY lately so I missed my Friday Favorites posting this week, sorry! To make up for it I'm going to do my first ever Marvelous in my Monday post for you guys to catch you up on something things I was loving this weekend!
MIMM #1

All weekend I've been running on not as much sleep and have been a hungry monster so I've been trying to up my protein intake.  I was sent some Ripped Cream coffee creamer to try out and LOVE it It's a high-protein, all natural AND gluten free coffee creamer which also contains vitamin D3 and 11 amino acids. I usually am a black coffee or splash of almond milk lady, so getting some extra protein in the morning was great! Each serving has as much protein as an egg (5g per 2 tablespoon serving) and less than 10g of sugar.  I'm sure your favorite flavor of CoffeeMate has more sugar and less protein than that!

There are two flavors- Lean Vanilla Bean and Chizzled Chocolate.  The vanilla was really delicious and made my coffee just sweet enough.  The chocolate flavor hit the spot when I was in the mood for something mocha.  It dissolved really easily when I stirred it into my coffee which was nice.  Check Ripped Cream out on Facebook or order some here!

Friday was a night of Netflix and peanut butter and chocolate protein pancakes for dinner. No photo because I inhaled those in five seconds. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day hands down. Even if you eat it for breakfast AND dinner. Even better.

I slept in way longer than I wanted on Saturday so when I headed out for a run outside it was SO hot (I feel for you Zooma Annapolis runners this weekend!). I waited too long, and it was one of the worst runs in a while with lots of walk breaks. Buying a RunDisney hat when I was on vacation to run in is going to priceless this summer.  Note to self: it's officially summer and you better stay hydrated and not run outside between the hours of 11-4.  Dying.

Later I grabbed some lunch at Panera.  My favorite salad of theirs-Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken salad is back for the summer YAY! I devoured the "You Pick Two" half of that and a cup of soup! My boyfriend got the shrimp roll sandwich and corn chowder which were also really delicious because I had to sneak a few bites.

After running an 8K Sunday morning (more on that later!), I made it to my favorite Sunday morning activity-going to the Baltimore Farmer's Market.  I got a bunch of fruit and vegetables including kale, asparagus, and strawberries! I also picked up some hummus from one of my favorite Baltimore hummus vendors-The Wild Pea.  I taste tested a bunch including Old Bay hummus and cinnamon raisin hummus (!!!) before deciding on getting the pineapple pesto flavor. It won't make it past Wednesday .

    1. Season 4 is a little slow and kinda weird how they focus on one character per episode. I read that everyone just came in and did all their parts due to scheduling so lots of green screening was used. The coffee creamer is delish!

    1. Best thing ever! I go every Sunday unless I'm out of town. They also have a place that makes mini donuts on the spot which are amazeballs.

  3. I am saving Season 4 for when the husband gets all caught up. He is somewhere in the middle of season 2 now. But we definitely got Netflix just for this!

  4. I really want to check out that creamer, I have to drink coffee every morning and I feel like adding some protein to it would do me good for all my workouts!

For summer, a good light running hat is a great thing to have, that and moisture wicking tank tops, make a world of a difference!
