Little Things Thursday feat. Snowballs and Beyonce

Welcome to another It's the Little Things Thursday, which is the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month. I think it's important to remember to take the time to stop and appreciate all those little things that make us smile. 

 I cannot believe how fast July is flying by! It's pretty much non-stop from now until the end of the summer, making it the perfect time to stop and reflect on all those small joys in my life. 

Remember that all those small moments of happiness add up,even though it's hard to see that when life gets stressful (i.e. me this week!). 

Here are some of the little things lately that have made me smile!

Taking iced coffee to work in my frog cup.  Yes it's mine. Yes I'm in my mid-twenties. 

Seeing Queen Bey (oh and Jay-Z too) in concert. FLAWLESS. This is more of a big thing than little thing, but it made me super happy we're going to count it.  

Going to make a cup of tea to ward off what feels like an impending illness and getting to use a little taste of Savannah in the form of honey. 

I know I always talk about it (sorrynotsorry) but having a really fun workout with November Project Baltimore on Wednesday. This week's workout included piggyback rides, holding hands and skipping, along with the usual stairs, sprints, and body weight movements. 

I'm in the red tank looking serious about stairs.

My mom texting to ask what kind of pasta I wanted this weekend because she remembered I try to eat mostly gluten-free pasta. She's the best. 

Finding this shirt for $5 at Five Below. I had seen this shirt online before, but this was a steal and absolutely perfect.

My first snowball of the season-egg custard with marshmallow fluff on the top AND middle!

FYI, Snowballs are a delicious Baltimore-area treat similar to sno-cones. 

Realizing last night that the Hood to Coast relay race is only 37 days away! I can't wait to run with Nuun Team Lemon-Lime and explore a new area of the country. More to come about that next week!
