Own Today {Momentum Jewelry Review & Giveaway}

Did you check out the reasons why I run yesterday? I hope you had a great National Running Day whether you got a run in or not!

Lately I've been really into mantras. Little words that help me reflect on the moment or task at hand are really helpful, especially with my anxiety. I love posting inspiring sayings on my walls and writing little quotes on post-its I put all over the place.

Having some words of motivation and happiness can be really inspiring when you are having a hard day or a tough workout (or trying to complete the #RWRunStreak!). For the Baltimore Marathon back in October I wrote mantras like "dig deep" on my hands in sharpie, but they ended up coming off by the end of the race.

I was really excited to be offered the chance to review Momentum Jewelry, a line of jewelry by Amy and Wendy which blends their passion for fitness and over 20 years of jewelry-making experience.  They make motivational jewelry that is workout-proof so you can be inspired while you get your sweat on!

I was allowed to choose two different pieces, a Motivate Wrap and a single Foot Note. The Foot Notes and Motivate Wraps come in other 30 motivational sayings including an option to add a custom saying, along with six different color choices for the fabric.

The Foot Note slides right onto your shoelace to motivate you no matter what the activity.  The Motivate Wrap bracelet merely wraps around your wrist without chafing or slipping.

I chose a black "Beast Mode" Foot Note and a teal "Own Today" wrap bracelet. I love that the jewelry is made for getting sweaty with the washable fabric wrap and the  lightweight, non-tarnishing aluminum pendant.

The Foot Note slipped on my shoelace easily and stayed put, similar to a race timing chip.  It's nice to look down at your feet and see "Beast Mode" staring back at you as a reminder!

The motivate wrap bracelet fabric felt just like a soft tee shirt on my wrist.  I wrapped it around a bunch of times, and it stayed put comfortably.

Remember when I ran the Nike Women's DC Half Marathon in April? I wore my Motivate Wrap all weekend including during the race!
My Motivate Wrap on my right wrist post-race!
It looked cute during the day when I walked around Georgetown after the race expo.
I like big bracelets, and I cannot lie!
It was also super comfy and motivating when I was ready to race. I loved looking down at my wrist when the going got tough and seeing a reminder that I was going to rock the race! Even after running 13.1 miles there was no chafing or rubbing.

I honestly love these bracelets and need to order more! The wrap is so comfy I forget I have it on, until I look down and get a glance of  "Own Today" along with a dash of motivation! I love that I can leave it on for days through work, workouts, and everything in between. Now I just need to figure out what bracelet to order next...

Check out Momentum Jewelry on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or online.

If you order before July 15 you can use the code "GGS158 " to get 15% off your order! I can't wait to order more.

 Amy & Momentum Jewelry were nice enough to offer a chance for me to giveaway a Motivate Wrap to one lucky reader! You'll be able to choose your own color and saying combo to make a bracelet that will be motivating to you!

All you have to do is enter via the Rafflecopter below to win a Motivate Wrap bracelet! Giveaway ends Friday, June 13th at 12:00 AM EST, US particpants only (sorry!).
