Friday Favorites 4/26/13

I'm super excited to be running the Nike Women's DC Half this weekend! I'm starting to feel sick today (OH NO!) so I'm loading up on vitamin C, echinacea, and getting lots of rest! I'll be rocking a black running skirt, black arm warmers, and mint green sassy tank I made so if you're running it, look out for me! I'm getting into DC tomorrow and worried about all the crowds of lady runners since it seems like everyone is running this. I am hoping to make a little informal Sweat Pink Ambassador meet up for some cupcakes so hopefully I can get around the city quickly.

Getting a Tiffany's necklace at the finish is going to be pretty baller also.

Anyways, once again it is Friday so here are some things I'm loving lately!

1. Favorite Nighttime Snack:
AlmondDreamBar
I've have finished off a box of these this week. It's the perfect little non-dairy dessert for only 100 calories per sandwich. It tastes like a regular ice cream sandwich and satisfies my late night sweet tooth!

2. Favorite Workout Song

Girls Love Beyonce by Drake has been on my playlist all week. I love Drake as a rapper and this song has a great beat for running!

3. Favorite Fitness Purchase
LivingProofFitGear
Get your own here!

Earlier this week Living Proof Fit Gear had a sale on some tanks in their etsy store so I grabbed this Crossfit inspired tank that I had my eye on for a while. It arrived on Wednesday and is super soft, cute, and bright! I can't wait to workout in it!

4. Favorite Breakfast of the week

This morning I'm feeling sick so I wanted a delcious breakfast. I had found this recipe on instagram a while back and decided that funfetti pancakes should cheer me up.  The ladies over at Go Super Sisters always post awesome, healthy recipes so check them out for some inspiration. The pancakes were fluffy and definitely had the texture of coconut flour which takes some getting used to, but they were delicious!

I LOVE funfetti everything so having some pancakes that were also healthy, less than 300 calories, and with a whooping 26 g of protein was an awesome way to start the day!

Anybody else excited to be running Nike Women's DC Half?
